The Office of Environmental Education seeks to promote
and support environmental citizenship by building awareness,
understanding and appreciation of Florida’s environment.
Together with other government agencies, non-profits, the
academic and the private sector, the Office contributes
structure and funding for environmental education in Florida.
In addition to the core programs, LIFE and Project WET,
the Office provides support to educational initiatives within
the Department and those conducted by a diverse community
of environmental education providers throughout the state...more
